She worked at the Ars Medical of Gravesaño (Switzerland) as a nurse. The tragedy has involved the Alvarez family, there was an accident happened on the highway A2 of Camignolo.

In front of her two sons and husband, the day 01.07.2001, an Italian car driver (47) didn't take care of the road for a moment and has lost the control of the vehicle hitting the body of Mery (34), she died instantaneously.

It caused a big pain in the heart of her mother Yrma
